okay Looks great! A few suggestions though. Your roof, is that an open part ( mesh). If so You may want to cover it up Just my opinion ,( as wild birds will fly over or land and poo on it and drop all their yuckyness ( lice, mites, infected poo) in with your birds) Be careful with your door, a lot of members use a safety door ( a door that leads to another door) this will stop any birds that may escape ( I am in the mist of working out how to put one on mine). I have lost a few birds due to not having one okay Budgies and how many ... Really I haven't a clue Kaz is good at that! But i will say with a Novice guess 10- 15 Teils, I am not expert in this a lot of members have them with their budgies With the food and water - That is up to you. But as the mesh is from bottom to roof I would have hanging ones so that mice and etc will not get to it Or you can use a Bird Bath or a pedestal as a feeder ( i have used the bas of a stool and put a frying pan on it. I can't wait to see the final results all decked out and etc ... I need to pull my finger out with mine Thanks soooo much for sharing
  3. Really no crispy spuds? How did you do them ?
  4. This is hard to determine, But have a marble, or fake eggs on hand just in case Usually you can tell that a hen sits tight after a the first or 2nd baby is hatched .. You may get squashed chicks Or when /If they develope splayed legs I will probably be corrected on this - So wait until other members have replied D Here --->Is an article some good reading in there

I tell you what. From the sounds of the Lord smith Vets to their Own pet shop - This is a great to read. 10. Bits of it - When it is breeding and winter season I will increase their seeds with added sunflower seeds and oats - But I am just learning about all the excess protein and etc .. Maybe a few more experienced members may have some views
  11. Fantastic Advised Maes. I blend mine up too When it comes to cooking my eggs I put them in the microwave . I crack the eggs into the bowl, whisk it up with a fork, then cook it for about 1.5 - 2 mins ( depends on the Microwave) 1/2 way through i give it another whisk, and then BAM Instant scrambled eggs :D Then i add that ( once cooled ) and a few others like Carrots, and spinach to the mixer ( blender) give it a blast for a few seconds then I add my corn and peas -

  14. FANTASTIC! I know that those Photo's aren't the best. But Can you or anyone else let me know if for my first I picked GOOD! I haven't decided what a want to "Breed" Yet. I just want to get the Sizes, Feather and Heads to a Good if not Great Quality first. Then I will pick a few varieties that i would like to breed and Show - I think that I would like to go out and get alot of experience first up. As the Mini Club show was so informative- I asked the judges if i could sit in with them I am hoping that I am going the right way about things I know for sure that I am not rushing into things and that I am researching and taking my time But i know it is for the best

  20. Had a brain wave last night ! If you put Veggies on a plate and your favorite meal on a plate. Which would you choose? Maybe that is what is going on with Roxy - She will eat what she needs, try not giving her the soft stuff, But replacing it with Veggies and fruits???
