  8. DO NOT WORM BREEDERS THAT ARE RAISING CHICKS!!!!!!!! Agree with the others on worming - depends on what brand you get you can do the oral does 1 drop per bird in their beak or add it to their water ( if you add to their water do not give them their greens or anything that they can get water from ) Worming should be done especailly if you have soil flooring :budgiedance:

  10. I'll give it a crack :budgiedance: Dom pieds have a band of clear body feathers across the lower-mid belly. It can be range from a little to alot, . Their flights are clear also. Dom pieds have a patch of clear feathers on the back of the head, usually about the size of a 5c piece. And have Iris rings Adult Males have blue Cere and Adult Hens have brown cere Recessive Pieds eyes stay a dark plum color throughout their life with no Iris rings, they have markings on their flight feathers and are between 75 - 90% apart from their rump which is the original body color There color bands are located close to the bottom of their belloesl with the rest of the body feathers being clear. Where there are marked feathers on the wings, these feathers are half clear near the top. The wings can have anywhere from a lot to very little marked feathers. Their heads are mostly clear except sometimes for patches near their eyes and crown The cere of the male recessive pied does not change. Adult male recessive pieds have purple ceres. Adult female recessive pieds have the normal white/tan/brown ceres.

:hap: I am sure that where you want to put it/ them would be fine ... I have my kitchen, the dinning room entrance which is all open plan . I have my birds located in the Entrance which is opposite the lounge room ( during winter the fire place is on and get rather hot in there & summer the Air con makes it quite cool ) so we still have daily sontact with the birds I have issues with birds that kept IN THE KITCHEN - This raises alot of health issues even if you are a Clean freak
