Hi, He is a cutie, however young!!, even 2 weeks out of the nest ( some are in there upto 35 days from hatching) the parents are still feeding bubs ... The others have given you great advice especailly the cage type, being a round one there is no security ( corners) for your new little man, ...... I hope your son loves his B'day present, he is cute, keep a close eye on one him and ENJOY

lol, the only thing i can grow is grass & veggies lol ..... * wishes she could have a pretty garden .. tell you what Birdluv, come this spring, I am gonna make a garden I've always wanted a blue and white themed garden bed ....... Even if i have to my silk flowers by golly i will have that garden

5 eggs to go ....... this is my first time breeding this hen she was bought a few months back $8 ..... i couldn't leave her she was in a small tiny cage at the markets ...... Proven herself so far I will check the little one in a few hours to see if it's been fed and looked after ......
