I was supposed to go to the budgie auction today (actually had money!) but didn't sleep (too tired to drive) so my parents took me to the local markets knowing they sell budgies. Picked up these 2 cuties: Not positive but I think the green one is a girl because of the lighter colour around the nares:

oh dear, such a shame - they made a nice looking pair.

I found 3 mice (different nights) hiding under my house birds cages on the verandah when I get home from work. Found another good use for a bird cage other than containing birds. 3 less mice around - I could smell them! ewww! I put some bait around my aviaries as one morning my mother found an adult mouse and a baby floating in the birds' water and the birds looked petrified! Thought I'd gotten them all around there. Needless to say the water bowl is now sitting on top of a 3 foot post.

I must be going mad, I saw some uniforms that were all stripes like Geelong and now I can't find a picture of them to show . . . *goes off mumbling*
