9-5... ( Ish )
Well before l went on permanent disability. l use to work at an electronics factory. I would solder wires onto parts and sometimes l would build wire harnesses. I would also inspect and test the end products. To give you an idea of the products we would make. Here is a link to the company that l worked for http://www.parker.com/portal/site/PARKER Since l have been off work I like to work on my art. l do mostly wildlife drawings and l use pencil or coloured pencils. I'm starting to also try sketching with markers. What l would like to do is more digital artwork. I also enjoy photography.

Budgie & Cockatiel
I would not put them together in a cage but that is me. Right now l only have a cockatiel but in a few days, l will be getting a young handtamed budgie. After quarantine, l plan on having them in separate cages but l will let them play with each other when l can supervise them. So just in case one acts up. l can stop them from fighting one another.

New Members And Request For Opinions
Hi, welcome I'm sorry about your budgie Fred. You are right about cockatiels and budgies. It is highly recommended not to put them together in a cage. If you have the room, you could house the cockatiel in a separate cage. Like the other posts have mentioned. What ever bird you choose. They need to be Quarantined. It is very important.

Thinking Of Getting A New Bird.
What gender of budgies do you have right now? If you Have 1 male and 1 female. Adding another female might not be a good idea. Females tend to be more aggressive then males and they might fight with each other.

Biting.
I don't know if your budgie is handtamed but if he is then this might help you. When your budgie bites you. In a frim voice say "no" and immediately return him to his cage. When he is in the cage ignore him if he makes alot of noise. Only go to his cage if he is calmed down. He will learn that his biting behaviour does not receive any attention.
