Enlarged Squidgy Crop
None of the birds I have sold were affected - you can't miss it. If it does pop up I hope I will be contacted for advice. Yes, turbosole is the treatment - active ingredient: Ronidasole 12%. 4grams per 2 litres for 3-10 days. So turbosole is like Ronivet ? Don't know. Turbasole is what I get from Rob Marshall for Canker treatment and it specifically says it treats Trichomonas, Hexamita, Cochlosoma and Giaardia Infections in birds. :laughter: Yes RONIVET-S is the same thing and same ingredients.

Enlarged Squidgy Crop
Good to know  I guess you had better give some meds and advice for treatment to the buyers of the birds in case any of the auction birds may be carrying it.....or at very least get them to watch for symptoms. Turbosole is for this complaint is it ?

My New Budgie - Advice?
Again its the USA that renames budgies into terminology not used most other places in the world but there :laughter: ..............English would be a budgie that lives and breeds in England and nowhere else. Even the English refer to them not as English, but as exhibition budgerigars....We here call them show budgies. The only kinds being show types or exhibition types and pet types...the differences being size and breeding heritage really. Same as most peo[le in the USA call them parakeets which in fact is a whole family of differing parrot types not just another name for a budgie :laughter: You have a cute little pet type budgie that appears to be a normal cobalt not violet or lavender or mauve. Possibly female if the cere has white as you say it has I await clearer photos  Sounds like a real character and I have to say again I JUST LOVE THE NAME QWERTY so apt, so perfect  Look forward to hearing and seeing more on " our QWERTY"

My New Budgie - Advice?
"American" a is a term only used in the USA to describe a pet type budgie. It is not correct terminology but just a common usage term. Lavender may mean its violet, but the photos shown are affected by different light conditions so we cant see correct colours of either the budgie or its cere. Radien................I read your other topic and the first thing that sprang to mind was....it sounds like female behaviour to me Could be wrong, but would you be able to post a picture of QWERTY ( the PERFECT name ) in normal daylight conditions, no flash used on camera, front and back photos including a closeup clear shot of the cere ? PS

Dark Factor Genetics
I am not overly optimistic ... but with any luck I will fluke one - so it is official: I am in the market for an OLIVE or 2 I had three good olives that did well on the show bench, and some of which flew the coop the day my aviary door came open. I dont think I have any left I will make it worth your while if you have another look and find one! Looked and they are all gone...maybe RIP got one in her last batch of budgies she got from me

My Birds Are Unwell
I guess if it was me I would stop breeding and concentrate on medicating the birds and getting them well, as we all know breeding is stress conditions and if the breeding birds are sick too then treatment must come first..... get the flock well and for a decent amount of time before breeding begins again. Best of luck buddy
