Hes got the v on the back, with darker wings, and lighter markings up to his head I dont know if this changes anything, but i know he is opaline! Chico isnt coablt, hes a yellow faced blue type II, meaning he was brigth blue, now hes greenish (Laughing out loud), so thanks for the guesses, but im not sure if these changes will affect the colours ill get ALSO- Ariel laid 1st egg today!!! ITs quite big, and compared to her others is brown, and bigger.... My pair, Chico and Ariel have paired up quite some time ago. After 2 prvious recent clutches (both about 2 months ago), they have started 'mating' again. This time, they look successful, unlike last time, the male NEVER mounted her properly... So, if the eggs do hatch, whenever she lays them, which the forst looks like it will any day now, what would i get? Chico- Yellow faced blue type II, opaline recessive pied (Father was yellow faced blue type II, mom was greywing skyblue recessive pied) Ariel- violet cinnamon white recessive pied (Pet store purchase, dont know parents) Would i be able to get white pieds? Since Chicos mom was one, and Areil is one? Same with my guys.... I have 6 birds, 3 pairs. 1 couple old enough to bred, 1 couple barely old enough, 1 couple 9 weeks old, and the oldest pair WILL NOT breed seperated. They only do in big cage...like a small aviary! So dont worry. What i do, is as soon as my oldest hen and cock have eggs, i remove other birds, so then no one can attack the eggs, yet they are laid, and possibly fertile Kirby

ADORABLE! Well, with ony one clipped, its like flying a plane with one wing! They definately cannot balance, and simple spiral out of countrol, which is VERY dangerous. Its ALWAYS best to clip both, so he can keep level and stable, then *** simply drift to the floor, not go crazy and hit the wall, then bang into the floor...get what i mean???

WOW ! ! ! Scary eh?!?!? I have a story like Rianbows My Sheltie Mollie (who sadly had to be put down at the young age of 11 months) was outside of my room, where the birds were. Mollie never jumped, or anything, nor did i ever see her open a door with a curcular handle. So, i left Emma, and Chico out to fly. I first clipped Emmas wings for safety and taming, as it was summer time, and the windows are open (with screen) but y ou never know what can/could happen. So, after i clipped Emma, i put her on the cage, and got Chico ready. Next thing i know, Emma 'flew' or dropped onto the floor, becuase my puppy Mollie decided/figured out how to reach the door handle that was about 3 feet high, and somehow turn the round handle! Im 100% confident i did close it, and i always made sure it was becuase he have cats, and dogs. So, now here Emma, on floor, with my dog now beside me, while im holding open scisorrs and Chico. I clumped Chico back in the cage, closed over the door, and was shaking whole time! Mollie didnt see Emma on floor, but i knew she was going to. As i went to get Emma, which was on other side of Mollie (Mollie was between us) Mollie saw Emma, and grabed her! Emma tried to fly, so mollie ended up clamping both her wings together around her back!!! At this point i was TERRIFIED! I told Mollie to give, and grabed her mouth to open it just as she was running out of my room! Poor Emma was okay, and Mollie knew she wasnt on my happy list, so she ran dowsntaris and hid! (Laughing out loud) I never yelloed at her, nor did she see me that tense before, plus she was my little shadow, and fallowed me everywhere, so she knew i wasnt happy. I yelled at her when i said give though, so maybe she heard my tone of voice. Either way, that story to just goes to show you, other pets can always surprise you, when you least expect it, like my case, as well as Rainows and Janettes!!! Kirby

Yes Mavi Kus.... But i got mine from Florida (HAHAHAH Misty, you should search for that link, i got mine from dealer in Florida!) Same one as mine Mavi Kus.... I think. Mines the diamond blue aswell, and REALLY highlights the birds!!! Especially the yellows, blues, whites, greens. I bet poor Raven will get camoflauged!
