  2. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KAZZAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE HONESTLY, AND IM NOT LYING ONE BIT, THEY ARE THE MOST GORGEOUS SPECTAULAR STUNNING BEAUTIFUL AMAZING WONDERFUL BABY BUGDIES IVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG ! ! ! I want the first group of pics you showed us! Butter and Chucky is stunning, Kiwi and Honey's are tooooo nice to even say anything about :hap: the violet opaline spangle baby, and Lucifurs baby is GORGEOUSLY HANDSOME!!!!!!!!!!!! :hap: I do have to admit, i have a new favourite, sorry Curry, i now love Shiloh and Luciifers baby :hap: Funny enough he to is texas clearbody just like Curry :hap: (Laughing out loud) ps- Kiwi and Honeys babies, the two oldest babys have the EXACT same tone as my Emma, so indeed thery are yellow faced blue type II's :hap: Kirby
  3. HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!! My bad Well then, get breeding! (Laughing out loud) Kirby
  4. (Laughing out loud) Hmmmmmm... maybe i had another dumb moment (Laughing out loud) Well the handle gets wedged between the door panel, and the frame that secures the door to the cage... Know what i mean? Then the reason the door wont open fully is becuase as the door goes to swing open, then 'divider' doesnt allow enough room for it to turn all the way. However i 'force' (you dont force, you just put a bit more push or pull to it) the door open, and it will go all the way back Newen, is the cage empty now? What a waste of such a good cage! Get a cockatiel for it! Or shall i saw a weiro mate! (Laughing out loud) Kirby
  5. WHOA!!! WHAT THE HECK?!?!? When i posted the new news, and link to the colours, it was 3 indiviual link, done at 3 different time, i dont know what happened, sorry Nerwen and gang HAHA Yes i actually thought of that I also like Mango, Tessa, Stella, Yolkie, Crystal, and Flower (as in flourescent) (Laughing out loud). But her cute chubby cheecks suit Emma SOOO well you have no idea! In the pics you cant see her chubbyness, and petitness that i see in real life. Emma fit like a glove (Laughing out loud) Thanks about Chico, (Laughing out loud). Im SUPER DUPER HUPER GUPER TUPER NUPER glad to (Laughing out loud). All i did was since i have the cage that has 2 doors (i think you have the same) was i pulled up the metal grate that was at the bottom, and wedge it on the frame for the top door, then it sat VERY tight against all the side. It would NEVER fall, and i always have a hard time taking it off, i need to use a hammer to bump it inorder to take it un-wedge it. IT works like a dream, but the only thing is the top door wont open all the way, only like 30% instead of 100%... but i can live with that You should try it out Nerwen! Would work like a dream if you have 2 pairs for breeding... Kirby
  6. Yes thanks Nerwen! I think it is to! Her bottom is VERY swollen now, and her vent is partially opening, and shes making Chico feed her (Ariels in her nest with face sticking out)... So by morning egg 1 will be here! Yes, Chico for SURE is getting WAYYY BETTER as he builds confidence, and as their bond got much tighter, Chicos not as afraid of doing things such as feeding, sleeping near her, mounting around her becuase she use to hate him, then overnight she pretty much fell for him and wanted babies So, hopefully fertile eggs will be 'born' in my cool little nest, and ill have a baby to keep to carry out Chicos bloodlines who are very importnant to me as his parents were my 1st bird(s), and they were my first pet(s) that were actually mine Thanks Kirby
  7. UPDATE: So they mated again, several times, but none were successful (he was feeding when he was on her back instead of banging ) (Laughing out loud). So i moved them into their own cage with their little log nest, and i look up, Chico was on for a good 2 minutes!!!! (he did loose balance 3 or 4 times, but got right back on in 5 seconds!) His tail was under her more than ive ever seen him do before, and i think he may have fertilzed eggs this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her bottom is swollen, and from the prvious time, that means an egg in 1-3 days now... I just REALLY hope that he did in deed fertilze at least 1 baby this time As Chico is the oldest bird i have now, and hes the last i have that i kept from my origional pair when i was 10. So, since hes getting to be 4, i need him to have at least 1 baby for me to keep to keep his blood lines going so i can always have the genes of my very first pair within my flock. Hes such a great singer, very colourful, non-biter, semi-freindly out of cage, but very freindly in cage, and overall im going to miss him so much when he passes But in the mean time, hopefully he raises great strong children with the gorgeous Ariel, and hopefully *** live to be 10 like his father did ps- Ariel in nest diggin' some more, while Chico is on front 'porch' i mean perch ( ) singing like a champ! Please keep them in your prayers that well have babies this time, Ariel, Chico, and I want them to more than any pair of birds ive ever seen or heard of in my life... Kirby

Hey there! In quaranteen i try and tame all my birds, if they are breeders or not. So far, she LOVES me already and its only been 6 days! She runs to my hand when i open cage, when out of cage she stay on arm and nibbles the hair, when she tries to fly to see other birds she runs RIGHT back to my hand and poofs up (meaning shes relaxed), lets me rub her beak, rub her chubby lil cheekies, and she trust me a lot as you can see overall The name Emma suits her WAYY BETTER than Tweety, and im very excited for her to meet my other flock, as i bet the males will fight for her cuteness (Laughing out loud) Heres a picture that looks EXACTLY like her! Like honestly, when Emmas older, ill get confused whos who! Here it is: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/1958/mint2.jpg So what colour is that? Emmas a cinnamon opaline FOR SURE, but were trying to figure out if shes green series, or a yellow face skyblue type II... Thansk guys! Kirby
  9. Is it a HUGE aviary? As in a meshed in area with trees and such? OR free trees on your property? That sounds unique (Laughing out loud). Must be cool! Kirby
  10. Nathan. replied to Nathan.'s topic in Cage Discussion
Thanks Bea! ME TOO!!! Ive already planned it out. Chico and Ariel will be at the top, then Kirby, Belle, Oscar, and Emma will be on the bottom. Then when i move out, or am allowed to get another bird, im goin to put the remaining (that is if some arent with us anymore ) in the top part, then the new bird *cockatiel(s) or lovebird(s) cough cough* on the bottom (Laughing out loud). Ill keep you posted, im asking my mom tonight if i can get it, hopefully after persuading, and reminding her ill sell the blue one i have now shell allow me Then well pick it up this weeknd :) Kirby
  11. ME to Bea! Ive had males and females, and males are much more fun personally (Laughing out loud). My current male Sheltie is honstly the nicest, well manered pooch ive ever seen, and hes NEVER had a SINGLE accident (pee or poop) since the day he was 8 weeks old which was the 1st day he was at our house. He never chews furniture, never barks (Laughing out loud). Anyways, all im saying is i find that quite rude ( ) that males arent needed, put Karen, send me one, and Bea the other, then everyone will be happy (Laughing out loud) Kirby

Hey guys! As you know i have this cage now... Which measures 32" wide, 36" tall, and 21" wide... I found this cage from a lovebird breeder 15 minutes away from me for ONLY $175.00 :( . . . http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-pets-accessorie...0QQAdIdZ5917622 So, im going to get it (I e-mailed them the minute this add came out and she has yet to reply back, but its only been 10 hours since the adds been up, but it feels like weeks! I havenot yet asked my parents, but i will sell the blue one i have above for $150 which is still VERY good for it, then get this white one Isnt it fabulous? I cant wait! :) *Will keep you posted* Kirby
  13. Oh no! What do you mean? Kali didn inspect the nestbox, and Bob never mated? Sorry to hear Bea I agree! TRY THEM AGAIN (Laughing out loud) where are you leaving us for? (Laughing out loud) Kirby
  14. Thanks sooo much Rainbow! I REALLY need your prayers. Regardless, if these eggs are infertile or not, im going to let her rest 2 weeks to a month more after these eggs (if they dont hatch) then try again becuase Chicos VERY good this time, but i think your right, he missed/ is missing his chances to get them fertile even though some attempts are VERY close Then, im sure of it next time i put them together, they will have babies, then i will stop them after that single clutch if they do in deed have babies becuase thats to much strain on her, and i dont want her to die from me wanting babies Shes been digging in box past week now, made the entrance hole more circular (when i made it, a peice chipped off, and made a weird bump in it which she didnt like), and theyve been in a very good mood since i put them togethr Will keep you posted, but as Rainbow said, i think this will be another case of Chico having bad balance, not mating properly, and missing the fertilization period Who knows though right? Maybe the last egg will be fertile? Please pray guys! Kirby
  15. (Laughing out loud) thanks guys Thats why they love it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH becuase its natural and Ariels really lovin it! Chicos REALLY perked up, and hes VERY flirty this time around, which i think is becuase of the natural happy energy Ariels giving off him from her nest which she adores... Thats what i think anyways :hap: (Laughing out loud) Poops VERY big today, so i think any day now ill see egg(s) Hopefully they are fertile *PLEASE PRAY* Kirby
  16. AWWWWWWWWWW KAZZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hap: I LOVEEEEEEEE TEM! Swifts recessive pied makes me happy hes sooooooooo cute! Buddy
  17. BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA UNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hap: :P (Laughing out loud) Their last 'clutch' was about 2 months ago, if not more... then the other ones were at least a month apart. She eats her cuttlebone like a good girlie, and i give them Prime avian supplement (powder you add in their water), and she also likes her iodine orange mineral block Shes one of the only birds that eat all 3, when most only eat cuttle and the Prime enriched water... I also give them carrots, romain lettuce, cucumber, grass, and celery daildy (usually 2 things a day, then i alternate)... Is this a good routine right? They are all gorgeous, and moult VERY fast with new BRILLIANT colours So Una says they do shoot ( ) but everyone else says they cant, and the eggs wont be fertile? I bet she still has 3-5 more days before eggs as poop just started getting bigger the other day, but shes been in the nest 30min out of an hour, so almost all the time, just digging around, and carving out the nest more than what i did becuase its made out of real wood... Kirby
  18. Yes im also looking for new news Bea! I was thinking about this... and miss hearing from your and your pair Bob and Kali... Kibr
  19. Hey guys! Remember my Chico and Ariel? They had 3 other clutches of infertile eggs becuase Chico was to afraid of her (shes VERY dominant) and hes VERY timid towards other birds. Finally, he built up his confidence, so i added the nest box about 2 weeks ago. She wasnt interested at first which shocked me becuase nromally she LOVEs to play in them... So i almost took it out. Until one day i went in and i see her in it all day. She was kicking out all the shavings i added, and she carved more out so shes very pleased. Yesterday, i saw both get very excited sexually, and Chico mounted 3 times. (first 2 were backwards, then the last one, Chico only put 1 foot on her back, but wiggled his but under her tail, until he lost balance 1 second later). So, what im wondering is if sperm can he shot or do the cloacas have to touch? My freind told me it can be flung, so i hope Her poop got noticably bigger yesterday alone, soo.... any day now (im guessing 3 days about...) ill have eggs. Whether or not they are fertile, hopefully they are.. Thanks guys! Heres pics of their nestbox i made them (i carved it out with hammer and shizzle), then a new shot of them sectioned off in the big cage (the top)... http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...ic/MVC-011F.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet.../MVC-002F-1.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...13/MVC-016F.jpg Kirby
  20. AWWWWWWWWWW KAZ!!!!! I LOVEEEEE THE BABY AT THE TOP OF THE PICTURE SCREEN WHEN IT WAS IN 1:13MIN IN THE VIDEO!!! The one all stretched out What a doll!!! Which ones Holly? Kirby

New pics! Her new name is Emma Ive decided already! (Laughing out loud) Then rest of album http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...ty/Emma13/?sc=5 Kirby
  22. Guys im having a predicament Which names do you like the most out of these for her instead of Tweety... (with the meanings beside them) . . . Keona- Gods precious gift Lilo- Gorgeous one Kalea- Bright and colourful Indy- Indigo Sudney- Australia Jazzie- Jassmine Lilly- Lilliane Angel- Godess from heaven Grace- Gracie (blessed) Maggie- Maggie Annie- Annibelle Laila- Curry's wife (my favourite pair karen has) Feona- Shreks girlfreind from movie 'Shrek' What do you guys think? I like Emma, Grace, and Feona best You? Kirby Hey guys! Heres mew shots of Emma! (It's final, Emma it is! ) These pics were taken in sunlight, so they are as good of a picture as i could get to show her true colours... http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...13/MVC-015F.jpg Heres link to rest of them Then you can also see my main birds in their big cage. A you can see i seperate Chico and Ariel in the upper part (smaller part, but is still 32" x 21" x 18" ) then Oscar, Kirby, and Belle in lower... You can see the two nest boxes i have for them to choose, and of course Ariel picked the natural log you see in the left hand corner. They mated today!!!!!! Remember before they never mated, so past 3 clutches were infertile? Well today Chico built up his confidence, and got on 3 times, with 1 looking semi-successful... Her poop is double the size it is today than what it was yesterday so soon eggs! So, enjoy it guys! http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e104/pet...ty/Emma13/?sc=5 Kirby okay what colour is this bird then: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/1958/mint2.jpg Thats IDENTICAL TO EMMA IN EVERYWAY!!!!! Cinnamon, opaline, yellow face, then the turquise neon green/blue colour! Thanks guys! Kirby Guess this answer what Emma is then "Thus, a skyblue Type 1 yellowface would look skyblue with a yellow face. A skyblue Type 2 yellowface would look aqua blue-green colored with a yellow face. Below, the first two pictures are of two different birds. The third picture is the same two birds, together. Both birds are skyblue Type 2 yellowfaces. How do I know they are yellowface skyblues, and not light greens? By the intensity of the color. Yellowface makes a softer green tint than a truly green bird has. " picture 1: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/1958/seafoam1.jpg picture 2: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/1958/mint2.jpg picture 3: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/1958/mint4.jpg YAY ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! So Emmas a yellow faced type II skyblue cinnamon opaline! Meaning when bred to my cobalt spangle ill get yellow face spangles, yellow face normals, blue normals, and blue spangles! Kirby

(Laughing out loud) Lisachormis... Hopefully shell have at least some tamness come upon her (Laughing out loud) Thanks birdluv! Guys im having a predicament Which names do you likve the most out of these for her instead of Tweety... (with the meanings beside them) . . . Keona- Gods precious gift Lilo- Gorgeous one Kalea- Bright and colourful Indy- Indigo Sudney- Australia Jazzie- Jassmine Lilly- Lilliane Angel- Godess from heaven Grace- Gracie (blessed) Maggie- Maggie Annie- Annibelle Laila- Curry's wife (my favourite pair karen has ) Feona- Shreks girlfreind from move 'Shrek' What do you guys think? I like Sydney, Emma, Grace, and Feona best You?
  24. okay guys, i have a new name i like, that my mom has been nagging me to name her... It is... ~*Emma*~ I thought about it at first, becuase shes the exact colour of an emerald diamond...and my family loves the name Emma more than Tweety... My brother wants me to name her Lilly or Daisy... Ao.. what name should i name her? Tweety, Emma (short for Emerald), Lilly, or Daisy? This is sooo hard! And Oscar will be her hubby, so try and mix then (ie. Oscar and Emma sound good, but Oscar and Tweety dont really...) Thanks guys! Kirby
  25. HAHAHA GUYS Tweety's only 6 weeks (Laughing out loud) Shes pretty tame, or shall i say trusting already. Steps up, walks on hand, and arms... She nibbles arm hair, lickings and chews my finger nails ((Laughing out loud)) and likes when i talk to her. She isnt afraid to try new things, and since i got her, she now LOVEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS millet (what baby budgie would? ) celery (the shaft part, as well as the leaves), carrots (the tini baby ones), and shes already eaten tons of her seeds! Lil piggie! And yes, i do think she is what rainbow said... a skyblue yellow faced type II cinnamon opaline Shes got so much blue in her, and hardly any normal green colour that ive seen on a budgie to be considered a green series... Also, her yellow face looks more like a yellowface blue series birds than a green series one if that makes any sense... Her cheek patches are a deep violet, or a bright fushia, and they are relativly large (bit bigger than her button eyes)... Opaline is my new favourite colour (other than pied spangles, and yf spangles)... I love their markings and have had many skyblue opalines (Chicos siblings) but sadly didnt keep any of them.. so Tweety is offically my 1st opaline bird im keeping! (Laughing out loud) I already love her to death as you can probably see (Laughing out loud) Kirby
