It has also bitten me a few times now (quite hard) when it sits on my finger within the cage, but I am wondering if that is out of fear. He is a baby out of the nest 3 days ago, so do you know why he has this bluey/purple coloured cere and not the pinky/mauve cere that baby cocks normally have??
