Guest budgiedude
This has probably happened before and will happen again... As those of you that have read my posts will know I recently got a new budgie and I am training it. Today I put it's cage out in the patio (near the aviary) and tonight I brought him back inside. Just as I was logging on to BBC I noticed one of his toes was stuck between a join in the cage (it has a removeable top for easy cleaning). I pulled the wire apart and the budgie jumped onto the perch. He seems to be okay, i will keep checking him often and tomorrow morning if there is a problem he will be straight to the vet. Luckily I noticed! I am just sending out the message to people to completely check all parts of a cage/aviary before buying... Budgiedude PS Sorry about the long post Link to comment

Hmm, maybe a 'Danger Alert' forum could have a very usefull place here? What do you think Adam? That way a post warning us of hidden dangers isnt going to be lost among many other posts of a totally different nature. just a thought! Anne Link to comment

Don't Do This With Pet Budgies! is a current forum here, but it kind of doesnt match as well as it could. I dont think it would be sutable for a main forum but perhaps as a sub forum? Ill get my staff's thought on that. Thanks for the idea! Link to comment
