I am lucky. This lady is the same type of person as me and breeds some of her budgies with great love and has them all named too. I will find out the parentage of these ones for the future. The white one we have yet to work out if DEC or DF Spangle. Re the new baby. It is really sad to hold something that tiny and see the lost potential....I never fail to feel great sadness over these tiny ones that pass. Edited November 11, 2006 by Bubbles Link to comment

She is curious about my red eyed yellow youngster with the green back and cinnamon spangle markings She will also have some show budgies with her that may be for sale. Link to comment

I know they are not rare in your parts but I have yet to see a recessive pied again in our pet store since the Pretty batch. Isn't that amazing. I see mostly greens which are dominant pieds and normal blues every so often an opaline or greywing. You are right that is just another name for a recessive pied. The babies looks great. Congrats Kaz. Link to comment

Yes....the blue is a kind of mauve or violet really....I will try for better photos. The cere is very white is real life so I thought this one was female ? I kept Romeo and he is a new Dad right now...first chick hatched. Juliet was paired up with another boy and went with him when he was sold. I kinda got talked into that and regret selling her.
