Their two cages have been side by side for a couple of weeks now and they have pretty muh ignored eacch other. How do I acomplish them becoming cage mates? Eventually, they will all be in one large indoor aviary but I'm still building it and it won't be finished anytime soon. Neither bird is particularly well hand trained at the moment. Any pointers from the pros? Link to comment

Personally, I would not just put them together but do this gradually because if you do that you don't know what you may wake up to in the morning. When I intro both my birds I had them have out time together only for the first few days, if you don't do out of cage time you can put them in the same cage and then at night keep them apart. A lot of times 1 of the birds usually the older one may try and mate with the younger one and it doesn't matter if it is a 2 of the same sex this is what happened to mine they were 2 boys. Read over the FAQ how to intro a 2nd bird I believe you will get good ideas. Link to comment

Watch out for that, as she can become stressed and sick in no time if her persues her in this way. Link to comment

There's some dolphin noises in this short clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfpM2pQoRb8 Sometimes it sounds like 5 Flippers in there. Link to comment
