January 31, 200619 yr Wow, that's a beautiful girl!! Love her colouring!! Well I have lots of budgies together, and they seems to do alright together. Though they have big cages and spaces to escape. Not sure, may be someone else may have other thoughts and opinions.

These guys arnt kept in their cage all of the time, they have the door left open and they fly between the cage and the playstand you see them on. 24 hours a day they do what they like!!!!!! maybe that helps??
January 31, 200619 yr The out of cage tim definitely helps. I once had 3 budgies sharing and it was madness one got picked on the whole time so I decided to get another to even things out. Things were no better and they had to be housed seperately. Luckily things have caled a little and they are okay together at play time but they are still housed 2 to each cage and probably will be forever. Just be prepared for that in case they start fighting. I really hope they dont and they are all GORGEOUS!
February 1, 200619 yr shes georgess but did you qurintine? No i didnt quarantine her, unfortunately i dont have the facilities for that. However, they are booked in on friday for a check up at the vets, thought i would give them an annual check up. So that should highlight any problems or potential problems!!
February 1, 200619 yr SOOOOOOOOOOO adorable !! Who could resist this one ? Not me, if I saw her first that's for sure. What a cutie
February 1, 200619 yr before you buy another bird, (not to be a downer), always quarantine, (so make sure you buy what you need) there have been too many cases that good things turn out very bad. The risk is not work losing all your budgies or spending $$$ at the vets when it could have been prevented. okay, I am done with the lecture

Well it just so happens that I have also just purchased a brand new cage, which stands about 4 ft tall and 2ft square. Sooooo my old cage will be perfect for a quarantine cage. Although i think i have more than enough on my plate with the three naughties that I have. And with the horse as well I wonder where i find the time. xxx
