Posted January 5, 200619 yr Guys we need some photos of a "Good" cage and a "Bad" cage. Here is the requirements. They must be your photo, not off the web. We must be allowed to use they in the main web site you an article I have writen on Pet Budgerigars. A good cage is a rectangular one with perches running cross wise. A bad cage is a tall thin cage. Or one with rust and sharp wire. If you can post them at 300 pixels in width I would be very much appriciated. Edited January 5, 200619 yr by daz
January 5, 200619 yr Are there some examples in the cage setup post by etteri? Edited January 5, 200619 yr by Featheredpets
January 6, 200619 yr I only used examples of good cage setups (and yours were good, Rainbow! I used them on the site ). I think it'd be hard to find bad ones as most people here keep their budgies in good cages. And the people who don't aren't going to be like "Here's my **** rusty dangerous cage that little Billie Budgie lives in." (Laughing out loud). okay, kidding aside, maybe some people have old raggedy cages that they don't use but I'd think most people throw them out. The closest I have that I might be able to get pictures of are the ones I use for travel cages and even those aren't exactly terrible. (They're clean and safe, just not an ideal size.)
January 6, 200619 yr I have a nice round one, up in storage, I would have to have the husband get it down that would be a good example of bad bad. I even have a one that is a rusty one that is super small I found that was my husbands way back when (we don't discuss it- this was before me) anyways, I am going to turn it into a planter. Do you want that picture. I mean it is bad..I don't think they sell them anymore.
January 6, 200619 yr okay this is my biggest budgie cage its fairly tall but plenty of width and height and my birds love it. This is the cage Tobi and Max share a good size for two budgies I think. You can see on the first picture what a decent size the second cage is sat next to the big one a bargain at £50 too, the big cage was my biggest bargain at £115 - my best cage buy ever.
