Farleys Rusks

Ive recently offered these as a treat broken in half and clipped to the side of the cage. I bought the reduced sugar ones and from the ingredients they look the perfect treat for budgies, not high in fat like seed treats either. They have gone down a storm with my birds and just thought I would share the idea for others to try!

To be honest I cant remember but I only feed them half a biscuit a week, not everyday, but I reckon seed treats are far higher in fat!

i would think rusks are an ideal treat. i have a friend at uni that still eats them!

Thanks for that idea. Baby rusks would be cheaper in the long run, also I could have a nibble too

Cindy

the breeder i bought my birds from uses them as well

I buy these for the rats (and, um, I like them too!) - had never thought about giving them to the budgies! :P

Shall try that one..... thanks xx
