Posted October 26, 200519 yr Ive recently offered these as a treat broken in half and clipped to the side of the cage. I bought the reduced sugar ones and from the ingredients they look the perfect treat for budgies, not high in fat like seed treats either. They have gone down a storm with my birds and just thought I would share the idea for others to try!
October 26, 200519 yr Author To be honest I cant remember but I only feed them half a biscuit a week, not everyday, but I reckon seed treats are far higher in fat!
October 26, 200519 yr i would think rusks are an ideal treat. i have a friend at uni that still eats them!
October 27, 200519 yr Thanks for that idea. Baby rusks would be cheaper in the long run, also I could have a nibble too Cindy
