Today's the day that Buzz's first egg is due to hatch and i have butterflies in my tummy!!! I hope i get at least one baby!! If one hatches on Sunday it's going to be named Sam because that my friends little bros bday and his name is Samuel. Everyone, cross your fingers for me!!!

 

For anyone who is interested Sandy's eggs are due to start hatching on Thursday.

Thanks Lin!! I'm so anxious!!!!!! This will be the first time i have picked pairs not the budgies choosing for themselves. It will also be one of the first times i have bred with budgies other than Razzo and Budge. Buzz has had babies before but not with Gherkin.

Is this the odd shaped eggs? Must be if their Gherkins! I'm very anxious too! Gherkin the Daddy!

He will be the best daddy in the world i think!! I am hoping that Buzz is still fighting fit by the end of round 1 so i can breed her again. I'm lying on my bed listening hard for the tiny peeping that means a chick.

good on ya bea my first baby is 3 weeks old today i was like that to but mine hatched a day late but the wait was worth it now i have a fuzz ball in my breeding cages

I remember working out the day the eggs where 'meant' to hatch. I was upset that nothing happened, but then two days later I heard peeping at 9 pm and OVER the t.v I was shocked at the noise and just had to wake up mom and dad, well dad since mom was busy with the new baby, I was at first thinking something was the matter with Freckle.

Any sign of Noodle yet Bea *crosses fingers*?

Not sure when it'll be, second egg is due to hatch tomorrow so could end up with Noodle and Gherkin Jnr all in one day!!

Bea! Would there be any chance of recording a cheeping egg for us who have never heard it? I just love the thought of one.
