1. Your computer keyboard has seeds stuck between the keys and you notice everyone else on the forum is having the same trouble ( when they miss letters when typing posts )

 

2. When the birds get seen to before you get your morning coffee, breakfast or anything.

 

3. When BBC is the first thing you log onto on your PC in the morning.

 

4. When all family members roll their eyes when you talk about your birds :yes:

 

5. When you have a bird in one hand and the phone in the other, the phone rings and you put the bird to your ear instead of the phone :yes:

 

6. You have birdseed and feathers in your hair and down your cleavage

7. When the number to the Avian vet is above the number to your kids doctor

 

8. When you tell the kids to be quiet coz the bird is still asleep :hap:

21. When YOU vacuum and mop your aviary and birdroom and your husband does the house vacuuming and floor mopping

22. When your mum asks you what you want for christmas and your response is "I'd really like some more bird toys"

 

 

*Who me, I wouldn't ask for something like that would I???

23. When nobody bothers asking what you want for Christmas or Birthdays 'cause they already know the answer is "budgie money"

 

24. When Club Meetings take precedence over the inlaws bar-b-ques

 

25. When all you 'new' news is budgie related

 

26. When all your sleepless nights are due to fretting over malnourished chicks and sick budgies

27. When you can rattle off the daily goings on of your budgies' social lives in your aviary and cages and it sounds like a soap opera.

29. When you drive miles into the country areas to look for special branches and plants for the birds.

30. When you write egg hatch dates in your diary rather then your argh "time of the month" (for girls anyway)

31. When you sit reading posts on BBC instead of packing for a trip in the morning.

 

32. When you check that the bird has enough food before you leave for said trip, before you wonder if husband has some food in

house, too.

33 when you have way too many post like over 10K on BBC

34. when you cannot walk past a bird cage at a pet store without looking or talking to the birds for awhile.

 

35. When you read the paper and the pet section or bird section is the first thing you read.

36. When Soft Food recipe and Watering Regime are pasted to your kitchen wall .... so your hubby has no excuses for when your away

 

37. When the first thing you ask your hubby when you are away is how the birds are doing, and then inquire about his wellfare

46. When the ratio of bird numbers in your aviary probably out-weigh the population of insects species living in and around your home
