id say no because just a couple of months ago my rabbit was on the bottom of the aviary and every time a budgie flew to the bottom the rabbit would chase it, it also killed my cremino budgie, but thats just my opinion

I would say DEFINITELY NOT to lovebirds and princess parrots. Maybe to tiels.

Rabbits ? Although other members have rabbits I also know that some animals droppings are fatal to budgies if ingested. Since budgies and parrots graze on the ground and the likelihood of ingesting droppings is high......I wouldnt.

hi

well i have not got love birds yet but i have two teils and one princess parrot but the princess parrot and the teils do not do enything to the budgies

The birds flying overhead of the rabbits is quite frightening for them as it is like a raptor coming after them.

Also the rabbits would be in amongst the budgie droppings too, which isn't the best for them.

The rabbit will do fine in her hutch with her babies.

You could also make another run for your rabbit that is separate to the aviary.

I agree with Kaz, since budgies do feed off the ground you should not keep rabbits there. Even if the droppings aren't toxic they probably aren't good for budgies to be eating. I know people keep tiels and budgies together with no problems but princess parrots are huge compared to budgies and they could attack them. Same with lovebirds. If you are worried about the rabbits getting cramped you could make/buy a seperate run for them. AND if you are planning to get lovebirds you will definitely need to buy another aviary for them.

Princess parrots may be huge compared to budgies but as a princess parrot owner I must say princess parrots are a gentle bird, and even the aviary ones are tame-ish. It would be the budgies that would attack the princess parrots and not the other way around.

These were my thoughts exactly with the poop, they look just like pellets and I am sure will look like food, e-coli harbors in poop which is deadly to your birds and even humans.
