My son is doing an extra credit on what the weather is by you he asked if I could go to the budgie forum lol and ask others what their weather is like right now. So if you would like to help him out that would be awesome so he could take this post to school on Tuesday. He finds it amazing that AU is having summer right now .

Tommorrow we have a snow day...it has been snowing but the cold has made the schools call off we have had -5 F but with the windchill it is -25 plus more snow is coming. Very bad cold snap.

Here is a link to our weather from yahoo....http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USOH0711.html

  • Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow flurries and snow showers. Very cold. Dangerous wind chills approaching -25F. High 4F. Winds WSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 30%.
  • Tomorrow night: A few clouds. Cold. Wind chills approaching -15F. Low -1F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph.
  • Saturday: Lowering and thickening clouds. A steady snow developing as the day wears on. High near 20F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 80%. Some snow accumulation possible.
  • Sunday: Snow developing during the afternoon. Highs in the low 20s with temperatures nearly steady overnite.
  • Monday: Snow showers possible. Highs in the low 20s and lows in the mid teens.

I'm in Brisbane too so it's the same as Boris' Slave.... it is hot and the air feels heavy, but I wouldn't have it any other way  I just came back from three days in Melbourne, which I had never been to before... it varied from 14 to 36 degrees in the time I was there and the weather would change from cold to hot and cold again with no warning. Made me appreciate the constant heat and mild winters we have here.

As per usual Adelaide is perfect!! 26 degrees c(78.8 degrees f) and not a cloud in the sky and a gentle southeasterly blowing.

thank you all that replied it helps greatly and I can go to the links and also print out this page :D.

I think I need to jump on a plane and go to some warm weather it was -7F this morning and my poor Cabela was out for 3 sec and literally couldn't walk and cried when he came in after he did his business, so I had to warm up his small tiny feet. I could never imagine living in Alaska or colder places...I can't even see how they could own breeds with hardly any hair.

Hi Elly - WATCH OUT! :P Since what we get here eventually makes it's way to you in some form..... It was -15 F (-26 C) this morning when I went to work. We have had almost 2 days where the high for the day did not reach 0 F. It is dangerous to be outside for long as with the wind chill, temps are around -30 F or colder. It will warm up tomorrow, but then we are to get more snow.

I have been doing a little weather watching project with the kids I work with at Vacation Care because it has been getting so hot here in Sydney of late. We are located about 20km north west of the city of Sydney (slightly inland) and have been comparing the actual temperature at the centre to the temperature reported on the news each night.

This week we had two days where the predicted temperature was in the mid to high 30's celcius... the kids measured the actual temperatures to be in the low forties on those days! Very warm! The kids also observed that often when we have days like that, we also have a brief period in the late part of the afternoon where it gets really windy, cools down quickly and sometimes storms. On Thursday this happened at about 5pm. It had been 42 degrees right up until then, then it clouded over, the wind picked up, the temperature dropped 10 degrees, a few flashes of lightning and rolls of thunder, then RAIN like you wouldn't believe it! This only lasted about twenty minutes, then the sun came out again as quickly as it disappeared! Parents of the kids who had been working in the city told us that they had had no rain at all and were surprised to arrive and see everything dripping wet! So that was another thing the kids learnt... not only can the temperature vary enormously from one part of Sydney to the next, so can the rainfall etc!

True CR, we often have a huge heat then thunderstorms in the evening, I love it. The last 3 days here have been under 35 its been great, back up to 40's again now though. You can drive from one side of this town to the other in 5 mintues, last week we had a storm come through my end of town 44c then hail, huge downpour, thunder lightening and flash floods, ripped out about a dozen huge gumtrees lining the streets and a heap of private house trees, mate lives about mid-way in town and didnt get a drop no wind no rain nothing.

Here is my " forecast " for tomorrow But they aren't always correct
