I wish you were too, I need spoiling, Greg's trying to.

The pain is slowly going away, boy did that hurt, Kaz it is so hard, when I went to pay for the bill, the receptionist was serving someone else so I stood there for ten minutes moaning and groaning wanting to cry because the pain was so bad, I felt like screaming and saying would you hurry up this is killing me I want to go to the car and cry.

Oh mate!!! I'm feeling your pain... I would have started crying in pain... just to speed them up!!! grrrrr. Hugs of pain relief to you!

:( Sailorwolf I have spent the last hour reading through those comics from the beginning, I will be doing it for a very long time to come, they are a crack up!!

Haha I have you hooked Jimmy! That's how I started. I now have an account there. They also make videos too. They are famous for Red vs Blue.

The funny thing about those comics is that they are pretty close to real life (the characters are real people and half of what they do actually happens).

Good luck with your fingers splat! :(

You should take the company who made that slicer to court...get a compensation for a lost fingertip :D

Hope you get better soon :D Must be so painful

By the way, good comic Sailorwolf :hap:

hugs, I have been there sort of, I got my dog's tail slammed in the door about 6 months ago and when I tried to get it out she was crying and biting and bite my finger it hurt like a you know what...I was naughty against the advice of Kaz and didn't go to the MD but I should have but it hurt like ***, the first week is the hardest after that it is all up hill but be careful because it can become infected very quickly. Keep us updated.

I remember my tetanus shots in high school, not a pleasant experience at all. I feel your pain, well the tetanus pain not the missing fingers pain :)

Hey Splat, our new Cockatiel bit me hard today. :fear I wanted to cry  , I wanted a hug :sadsorry: , and I wanted someone to kiss my BooBoo :) ! That made me wonder how your fingers are going? Any less pain? I know that Hiradoid cream works well after blood tests or other bruising, maybe you could try that for the Tetanus arm so you get some good sleep. I hope your fingers are feeling better soon :) .

Oh your poor finger  my Charlie hasn't bit me yet but It even things out a bit :fear Have to try that cream, I think i will trwice about a tetanus needle next time :fear

My little bite wound is nothing really, I just felt like a big sook! Serves me right for handling an aviary-bred bird without gloves! I got my WIRES bird handling gloves out after that!

When I saw your post introducing Charlie, I had to rush out and get a Cockatiel :) ! I'd been thinking about it, but Charlie is such a cutie with such pretty markings, I couldn't wait any longer! When I know what sex our Cockatiel is, I'll get a mate and raise some chicks to keep one (just one) as a pet for my daughter.

I hope you can get some Hiradoid cream, it's not magic, but close to it! Don't put it on your fingers though, it's not for open wounds. :sadsorry:

I got a tetanus shot 2 years ago and it didn't hurt much at all. It just felt like an overexerted muscle.

Still very sore but not as bad as it was , Doctor very happy scab has covered well , no need to go back to doctors unless infection sets in.

He said it wll take about 4 weeks before my finger feels better ugghh.

I have elastoplast on now instead of finger bandage, so it does't stand out now and I can change as often as I want. :)

:) something that bad could happen so easily . hope the pain eases soon , it made me queezy just reading about it

Thanks brez it looks yukky looking at it too, but it is much better than it was :)

good to hear it is healing well, 4 weeks seems to be a marker for most injures like this.

But is was funny when I first did it the next day I rang my boss and said I wouldn't be able to work teh next day but I will be right next week and she said I don't think you will be and I said it will be sore bit I will be right, WELL how wrong was I.

I am a housekeeper at a resort and only work Thursdays sometimes and every Friday. And it's really hard work.

You see it's making the beds aggghh won't be able to for a while. RATS
