I am so pleased that Elvis is settling in well :hap:

Hi there,

Well done for making a post :hap: We love pictures of pretty birds here, as you know.

They are all such pretty birds and seem quite happy all together. Vets will tell you that you should quarantine a bird for 60 days. We usually advise at least 30 as any illness will usually show in that time. So, please keep an eye on them for things such as pooey butts etc as stress can bring out hidden illnesses during periods of stress (which included adding a new member to the flock).

Now that you have made one thread, please feel free to make another whenever you like :hap:

Feathers.

Fantasic News, Elvis looks like he fits in very well ... They all look happy that he i's out of the cage :)

Looking good. Keep an eye out for the first signs of illness... just in case. I'm glad they're settling in well together.

They are very pretty and look like they are having fun together :D. As Feathers says just keep a close eye in the avian vet world they actually recommend 90 days so 30 days is even cutting it short when you talk to an avian vet. :D

This may sound stooopid .... but. Which one is ELVIS ? I don't see any long sideburns on any of these boids. I don't see a rhinestone belt or wide legged flashy pant legs on any of them either.

And the most important thing of all ... NONE of these birds looks like they were eating deep fried peanut butter & banana & bacon sandwiches lately.

Point me to the new addition please ? The white one ? The middle one with white & greyish color ? Or the yellow banana colored one ? They are all lovely looking birds.

They are gorgeous, I'm glad Elvis is settling in well :D .

riiiight NickNack ^_^

Elvis is the one in the middle with spots ("white/greyish colour")

The name is dedicated to my grandad who had an elvis fetish

Elvis reminds me of my Fizzy ^_^ Nice to see they are getting along :P

Well .... then his name is fitting ... cause he does look like the older elvis with the side burns & big bloomy pant legged sparkly jump suits ... sans rhinestone belt !

He is a handsome boy ! Glad they are all getting along.
