I have just been sucessful in getting Sherbet to try some apple (l don't know if she will eat it again). I took the seed out and gave her a little sector.

 

I don't know if she likes it or not, but l was wondering how long l should leave it in her cage? :dbb1:

 

Its already started to turn a little bit brown, l don't want it to go bad :ausb:

Just a few hours, again it depends on the temperature as the vegetables and fruits start to wilt, bacteria happens and then those dreaded fruit flys.

I find it is best to feed fruit in the afternoon as it is cooler and you can leave it there until dinner time.

I will try and give her some on the weekends while l am at home. Hopefully she will eat some more!

Again, fruits in moderation are great but greens and other approved vegetables are better for them. :feedbirds:
