Okay I have four babies who are fledging. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what other mutations my spangle babies are. Only three are spangles the other is a normal green like its dad.

 

This is my special one I just think the colouring is awesome

Put two shots so you can see the blue and green colouring he or she has

First one is a yellowface type 2 spangle blue --> exactly like my babies.

2nd baby is a light green spangle.

Can't see the others.

The markings don't look spangle to me -- I think he's a yellowface full body color grewwing (or clearwing)

Hurdy if you look at the flight feathers they clearly have the thin black line of a spangle rather than grey flight feathers like a greywing/ clear wing would have.

 

Kerrie your first baby I think when fully grown will look practically like a normal green colour since there is already a lot of bleed of yellow into the chest are, this will continue to grown downwards to cover the rest of the body.

They are beautiful. Obviously mom and dad are both split to blue. :ausb: That first one is also dilute, and very very pretty. Have you named them?

thanks Nerwen! I love the blue on my first baby but I was thinking I will lose that cause I have read about how it grows out if there is bleeding of the yellow.

 

No Rainbow I havent named them if you have some ideas for names Id love it I have trouble naming my pets.
