Great pics. :( Your budgies are very pretty.

Great pics! ! !

How old is that male? His cere is more blue than my 13 month olds, but he still has baby stripes? (Laughing out loud) They sure are nice though!

Kirby -_-

Lovely budgies! Are they a breeding pair - I see a nestbox in your cage. The male does look young. He's gorgeous!

I agree that the male does look rather too young to be having a nestbox in the cage. I can see the baby bars too.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo . . . . . .

How old is he, or how old was he when you bought/got him? The males need to be at least 10 months.... The hen looks ready, male sure as heck isn't! (Laughing out loud) :D Just becuase his cere is bright blue, doesnt mean hes ready to take on the comiitment of babies as of yet. Id say hes about 9-11 weeks old. So if i were you, id wait another 30 weeks, if not more :P

Kirby :P

he was 5months when i bought him now he is 8 so but the female i had since that age now she is a year and 5 months

Sometimes the bars are kept after baby hood. The cere doesn't go blue before 3 - 6 months of age. So baby bars aren't a reliable way of telling a budgie's age.

An 8 month old male, might just be okay for breeding.

very nice birds :(
