    Hi Welcome to the forum!
  17. Awww they're very sweet <3
  18. Oh, thanks stace. I didn't think of that... I'll do some research on the internet.
  19. Anyone else? A reputable brand of budgie seed? BJ, my budgie won't touch canary grassseed. If I gave him millet/canary grass he'd only eat the millet.
  20. That all sounds good to me. I have trouble getting my little Allen to eat anything besides lettuce, carrots and broccoli; plus his seed mix and assorted cereal, bread products, and he also likes cooked rice. But I think I should have a better variety of veggies.
  21. Hi. Currently I've been feeding my budgie Petco's house brand parakeet seed. I know this is not the best out there. Does anyone know of a really good brand of budgie seed available in the USA? thanks
  22. Here is a link to a post on a blog I read. Its about training budgies not to bite, I thought it was really helpful if you're having problems: http://budgiecare.tumblr.com/post/39976323963/why-does-my-budgie-bite-and-how-can-i-stop-it
  23. Here's the little website place just for him: http://halfsider.com/index.html more pictures
  24. They just sleep sitting on the branches; I only have one budgie, so I'm not sure if they snuggle up or not, but they don't need a nest to sleep in. Yeah, budgies seem to like mirrors, and maybe it'd be okay with more than 1 budgie, but with just a single bird, they might get frustrated with the mirror because its their only bird friend, and it doesn't ever do anything different. Some people give their budgies mirror toys, some don't. But I think at this forum it is generally decided that mirrors are bad.
  25. Sounds great Just a couple things, don't give them mirrors; it can frustrate or confuse the budgies because the bird in mirror does everything they do, you know. And also, those triangle nest hut things can trigger nesting behavior, and also apparently can be dangerous too.
