I have read alot about breeding budgies before i even tried, so maybe thats y?, Yeah ive noticed that id read something and they would say completely different to someone, but theres one lady on there thats really nice and she helps alot

These are my 2 pairs of breeding budgies Aqua is a Dominant Peid but i cant remember her colour Patches is a Dominant Peid cant remember his colour either :/ Cinn is a Cinnamon Colbat Clearflight pied Bitsa is a Grey Green Opaline Spangle Aqua and Patches have 3 eggs 4th one due tomorrow Hopefully these eggs make it as they laid last time and destroyed the eggs Cinn and Bitsa have no eggs yet but were caught mating today i dont know how long they have been mating for but Cinn looks like she has an egg bum. Im Hoping to foster the eggs from Aqua to Cinn so they dont get eaten again if that happens they will be about 2 weeks old when Cinns 1st eggs hatch so i can take them and hand feed them then Aqua Patches Cinn Bitsa Sorry they arent the best photos i cant find my good ones

That is very true B.J They were fertile i had candled them and the eggs still had the chicks in them i wasnt game enough to check the one that was due to hatch in 5 days when it happened, A friend told me i should foster the eggs to another pair and let them have one and if they raise that one okay then they should be able to raise a full clutch

thankyou, they wont eat vegetables the breeder i got them from never gace them veges so no matter how much i try they just wont eat them, im thinking of seperating them and putting them with other partners and see if it happens again then i should know which one it is

Hi today i went to clean my budgies breeding cage and check the eggs and it was like a mass budgie murder crime scene there was bits of blood and egg shell everywhere im absolutely devastated could it be because they needed the calcium they havent had cuttlebone for a week because i run out and couldnt find any anywhere i had some on order and they came in today wish they came yesterday or is it just because they are just nasty and horrible parents, the female has been very protective over the nest box today and wont come out and if the male goes anywhere near the opening she attacks him does this mean he did it?
