  6. Gosh some people are unbelievably stupid, birds have peridos, my ar*s# if a vet told you that, they are mental to what a load of c*ap, and the one depriving her budgie of water made my nearly cry how terrible

Nice snake LoL Coming along very nicely i see I,ve killed 11 snakes in the past 2 years at my place, pretty overpopulated
  12. Lacewings are white and do not have that much of a blue tinge, i think its a fallow could be wrong though
  13. Great job splat, do the events get higher now? Do they go to nationals or what? And again fantastic jop keep it up
  14. Sorry amy, my mistake dont know how i did that She grew up around them and i think she just she mimics them, she whistles fine, but sometimes sometimes she barks, like 3 or 4 times and has whistles in between barks, it's kind of like she learn't to bark instead of talk
  15. Sorry Kaz i should have stated she was free with her 5yo breeding partner, they havent been bred for 4 years though, just a quick question what age should a cock be bred to?
  16. Thanks dave she is 6 yrs old, i mainly wanted to breed with her but i thought she was to old but wasn't sure, she is a beautiful bird She actually barks i think that is because she grew up with corgi's around her quite funny to see her whistle then bark haha, you have to wait until people come online to help Most people will be out and about on a Sunday. But I could possibly help you out. Firstly, are you sure she's old? Purple rings were issued for the September 2010 to September 2011 breeding season - so she could in fact be coming up to a year old or already be a year old OR if it's an old ring - then she'd be at least 6 so definitely no breeding for her. Any older than 4 is unwise to breed a hen What are the code details on the ring? In regards to showing - I don't see anything wrong with showing an older bird - if they have the looks, then why not? As long as she is in good health etc, it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks squeak-crumble, she is a 6 yr old bird and i wont show her as she was not bred by myself, i,ll get some pics for you

Sorry can't help you with the budgies but the difference between a pet type and a show type is the size and quality, for example take this photo of one of my pet types to one of my show types See the width of the head and how the mask spots are more visible and larger other birds would show this better Hope this helps ~corzstunt And welcome to the forum dixie
  18. okay well yesterday i got this old purple ringer that looks like she comes from a magnificent bloodline, the man who owned won many awards and shows but the question is is she old to show? And one other question could she possibly give me 1 last clutch? I could foster the eggs if so, i,ve heard that it is possible
