Thanks Robyn. My cock did have scaley face but he is being treated in a hospital cage. I have to clean my whole avairy to get rid of the mites. i know a bit about breeding i was more interested in knowing the colour combinations. thanks

Hi kaz. i went to the local avian vet in balcatta and she showed me how to put it on and gave me some ivermectin. i put one drop on my other birds and Mo(budgie at top) is in a hospital cage enjoying some fresh broccoli. she said one drop a week for three weeks.

it doesn't seem like you are listening, you really should take the advice and read the article KAZ gave you. she is a genius when it comes to budgies. she really helped me out alot.

Sorry about the picture quality. couldn't get great pics of their rings. can you please tell me if they are in breeding condition and also what type of bird they are. the males i have had for about 10 months and they may have been that old when i got them but the females i dont know. they all have rings on and i will try to get some pics.

sorry the birds are all from the same place anyway thanks dave for the help but i still would like to know the answers to my first questions if that is okay.

i have a big avairy and a breeding cabinet so i can separate the two pairs when need be. the hens are not separated as i do not have the space, i dont know what to do.

Hi my name is Ryan and i have not had much luck with budgies. the first set of budgies that i bought from a certain place(not allowed to say which store) died after about 10 months of me getting them. i looked on the internet to see if what i was doing was right. It was, i am giving them quality seed, (trill) they have cuttle fish, always have treats. get veggies all the time and also fruits and have plenty of toys. they seemed happy just didnt last long. Anyway getting to the point i bought two males from a different place about a year ago and then when the last hens died from the "bad batch" i went to the "good place" and bought two hens. that was three days ago. I can already see how much healthier these birds are and friendlier:P . i can get one of them to perch on my finger and one likes to land on my head. i was wondering how many days/ weeks i should wait until introducing the pairs into breeding cabinets. Please help. i would love to get my first ever pinkies. Thanks in advance.
