  1. Hi i just noticed this morning that more feathers from her chest have fallen out now there is a patch about 2-3cm covering her chest where you can see skin. I have checked and she is not egg bound from what i can see but i still don't quite understand what is going on......? I am worried...

  5. okay Now how do you check if a hen is egg bound? i have read about it but book information isnt always reliable compared to what you guys say wich i what i trust most
  6. Its a bit tricky when you live in NE victoria and the closet club is 2 hours at least away. And i only 14 so i cant dive lol

  8. My first hen with has now 5 eggs (3 are firtile) (the other two aren't old enough to candel) But i have a problem the hen has lost quite a few of her feathers on her chest. She is hass ans allert and can certainly bite!!!!! i just dont wana handel her to much as she does have eggs. But is the feather thing normal ext ext????*perching and alert
  9. I just want some rings to put on the babies that are about to hatch just so i can identify them. I figure seeing as you can only put closed rings on babies and they are much more permanant it would make sense to do this with the babies. It is just for identification for me so i can note when the were born ext in the budgirigar program. So they only have to have numbers. I currenty have 1-20 in split rings. And have used 8 of those.tp://cgi.ebay.com.au/BIRD-RINGS-4-mm-ALU...3#ht_1316wt_911 That is the person i brought the split rings off with no worries at all. Should i just use the split rings i already have for the babbies?

  11. Hi i am wondering how do you get rings for young chicks when you aren't a member of a budgie club?? I have already done my 8 birds with the split rings. And acording to the instructions i did it propely and all is well.

  13. Umm with the blue bird. The stipes on her wings are actually grey or pale black i guess. the picture is no very good.. Does this change what you said??
