THanks for your help guys, I will get a better shot of the rump of the 2nd one. While im on the 2nd one is that ring on her leg red or gold? The top one has a blue ring, the breeder told me she was not that old(unbred), I know you guys can sort of see by the iris maybe the age? any ideas

Here is my guess so far Dom Pied, grey, opaline Dom Pied, green/grey cinnamon, opaline as you can see im still trying to get a grasp on the colours, so bear with me

I had a good look today from a few feet away and the hen does look like she has a yellow patch on the back of her head.. more so then just the black being faded. I will try and get a picture

princess parrots are awesome hey, I have a H/R blue called dutchie, he/she is great, really loves spending time with you, got some great pics of the daughter reading a book to dutchie too haha the other is a green male, hes okay bites a little too hard at times but is friendly enough.

Hi all, Curious to know what these ones are... Here is what I think so far.. but there may be more to them.. Skyblue, YF, Pied??(not sure what else, but his sister is a light yellow/light green pied) Olive, cinnamon YF - one thing I noticed with her is the cheek patches contain white as well as what looks like violet to me What could I expect out of this cross? I guess I can work it out maybe once I know what they actually are and yes I know they are budgies

Thanks for merging them Kaz, I was having a *** of a time trying to figure out why it was going all funky when I was trying to make a post under a post I will get details of the birds rings. I have more birds but it took me 30min to get them pics haha If anyone can tell me what type/colour they are I would be ever grateful.

Hi All, Some of the birds I have, enjoy Yellow pied show type - mum to the one above Yellow/Olive type(as the others i'd like to know the colours/mutations The below white one has the ever so slight tinge of violet in her body???? Im pairing these two together Blue type Grey show type(hes nearly finished moulting http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab26/Ka...og/P1030426.jpg I also have a white show type one which I was told was albino but when you look at her you can see ever so slight blue on her tail feathers, and she has violet type cheek patches but very very faded. Also appears to have red eyes.. anyone know what that would be? shes the one on the LHS, you can see the blue tinge there too here is another one, im thinking rainbow perhaps??

cheers guys, looking forward to learning lots. Will try and post some pics tonight of the birds for you all to see, some show types and pet types, im by no means a show type person, but I like the size and style of the show birds. Also have some zebra finches, weeros and princess parrots.

HI all Been a visitor to the site for a while now on and off, I grew up with birds but got out of it for a decade and have managed to get a few in the last 12 months... This seems liek a good place to read about others experiences with budgies and the joy they bring.. I have 2 kids and am hoping that they too will enjoy the years with birds as I did as a youngster.
