True Or False
I went to a club meeting tonight and received some questionable advice on fostering. I was told, you can't foster a red eyed baby into a black eyed nest because a hen will know its not her baby and reject it.

Rabbits
I would recommend the lop eared. We had them as kids and used to show them. Like GB said they have good temperaments. My sister has 2 and her young kids love them.

Selling Unweaned Budgie Babies
Two thumbs up for Gumtree Their selling guidelines for other animals is very good too. It would make me happy if some other advertising sites followed suit.

Selling Unweaned Budgie Babies
I emailed RSPCA Queensland and asked them if there is a law or guideline for selling unweaned baby budgies. This is the reply. Hi Rachel In Queensland, the RSPCA Inspectors work within the parameters of the Animal Care and Protection Act, which does not have provisions for the minimum age an animal can be rehomed, only that the animal receives appropriate food, water, treatment etc by the person in charge of the animal. Therefore there is little an RSPCA Inspector could do. Regards Rochelle Duthie Administrative Officer - Inspectorate RSPCA Queensland

Selling Unweaned Budgie Babies
Today I noticed online, a lady selling 3-4 week old baby budgies 'ready to be hand reared'. Personally I think this is very wrong and I would never buy or sell such young babies. Does anyone know what the laws are for selling young birds? I found this site for NSW but couldn't find anything for other states. http://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/maintop/...iv.3-sec.55+0+Y?

Grey Opaline Hen X ?
rach you have all the needs to achieve birds like him if not better ,..true just need to pair them right as you could also end up with **** if you dont use what you have in the way needed I'd be over the moon if I bred a chick like him. Next club meeting is a lesson in pairing. Can't wait.
