Are Auctions Killing Our Hobby
I think auctions have there place clearwing, you can still get a bargain at times. That said ,you can also get a bargain directly from a breeder who himself has bought birds off the top breeders & save money. The three cocks in the picture below cost me $50 each ,all blue ringers & usefull cocks they all have some growing to do yet & should improve.

Breeding Cabinets
Usually when you move house birds take a while to settle in,it's happened before to other breeders from what ive heard Kaz.New enviroment new surroundings etc so breeding results may not be as good as expected.

Sky Dominant Pied
Correct me if I am wrong PJI But i think what he means is looking at the blood lines behind the parents, as in father and mothers, grandparents etc. Like putting two birds that are quite oridnary to look at , but have parents that are very nice birds. Like history. //////////// Spot on Squeak_Crumble, In my opinion the parents are very ordinary visually, however the father/uncle/& aunty of the sky cock where all visually stunning ,so i new he had something to offer from hes background.
