  3. I am lucky as my local pet shop where I have bought birds from is owned by a bird breeder. Can we name the bad shops with out getting in to to much trouble legally , I am a member of a fishing site as well and we can take a photo of the building showing the name but can't say who they are . That way we can all keep clear of those shops. Ross

  13. Hi All I am only new here and I have no dout that this topic has probably been discussed before but I could not find it . I have 20 birds in my aviary that are just starting to lay , I cleaned out the cage yesterday and have noticed runny droppings on the floor this morning , I will try to take a photo and show what it looks like . Is this because of stress due to changing their feed 2 weeks ago the seed I got was called avi grain budgie mix , I don't like it as there seems to be more on the ground than before and doesn't appear to have as much seed variety as seed like trill . Is the change in seed causing the problem of not I gave them some carrot the other day , maybe its that . Thanks in advance for the great advice that I know I will get from this great site . Ross
  14. I would be inclined to say a water spider as it doesn't look like the ticks we have in NSW Ross
