Golden Cob Vs Trill
I know this is an old post..but.. Since when have Trill made 10k bags? :laughter: I use Trill millet and seed bells etc for my birds. Also, I know the seeds you're talking about Liv...(I think they're called red panicum but I could be talking about something completely different) Almost every budgie and cockatiel seed mix seems to have them mixed in, and I agree, my birds don't touch them. When throwing out old seed from their bowl there are usually plenty of oat and millet husks, but no one ever eats the red ones..

Meeple can't have that, that's MY budgie :laughter: Sky Floyd Sparky Eli Blue Pretty Charlie I'm not sure what names are easy to say as I've never had a talking budgie. My friend had a female budgie called Bella who could say her name quite well...but yours is a male...so that won't work

Millet ?
Mine get about one a week in addition to seed bells. While Tikal was at the vet she was going through one a day, she was scared of the seed container in the travelling cage.

Vaccuum Cleaners
My budgies are free flying in a bedroom..I use the vacuum cleaner in there to get rid of feathers. Usually they'll just start tweeting as loud as they can when it's on. They like noise

January 2009 Budgie Of The Month
- Two Sweet Budgies...
Hi everyone! I've finally joined! (was waiting on a new email address) My first budgie was Meeple - she was bought on the 18th of January, 2008. Within a month she was completely tame and willing to sit on your finger and nibble you, preen your eyebrows and bite your ears...or play with toys! We decided to buy her a friend because she got lonely when we weren't around... The second budgie was named Tikal. On asking the owner of the bird shop we bought her from whether we should quarantine her, he gave us the answer "you don't need to quarantine, we never do". Unfortunately after a few days she started to show signs of a Trichomoniasis infection (canker). We took her to the Glenside Veterinary Clinic in Adelaide, and one of the vets told us what she was suffering from (we didn't know until that point). The poor budgie had to stay for a week! Luckily she was getting better over a few days. Trichomoniasis is a contagious disease so of course Meeple had to go to the vet as well, but she seemed to be healthy... At the end of it we came home with two healthy budgies and an expensive vet bill  Meeple is no longer tame but the good thing is they are happy... - Two Sweet Budgies...
