Green cheeks and sun conours are no licence.Eastern rosellas are licencesblack cockatoos are.lorikeets are not. some finches are gouldians are not. musk lorikeets are It depends on the breed.The licence is like a reptile one. Hahaha I should have known this would be confusing! Im getting to pied birds tomorrow. One is violet and one is grey. They produced all normal violets. Anyways I will post pictures of them tomorrow (I keep going to write tomoz, how bad of me!). Just want to know what I should keep an eye out for to get the above type of bird.

I think ill do what I did with Mak. Pellets, sprouts fruits etc as the staple in his cage. And then use millet and seeds for training.

He is only eating them when I crush them up and play with them. So very very little at the moment. We are jut starting. Lol. He has pellets in his cage as well as seed ect. But doesnt eat it.

Sorry I didnt make it clearer. I asked all those questions to myself. How is his weight? Good his vent? Clean is there a tail bob? Nope is there staining in the feather above the cere? Nope Have you changed his diet recently? Introducing pellets has he been exposed to any other birds? No Have you been exposed to any other birds and possibly brought something home? Hope not! Im pretty scared about that myself. Dettol wash is my best friend Has he had periods of not eating? Nope has there been any damp seed or soft food that might have gone off? Nope. Anyways. thanks all for your help but he is fine now. It was the wierest thing. It was like he needed to fart or something, be cause he is got heaps better last night as well! Became he happy self talking singing chewing things. It was the oddest thing. Has anyone else have this happen?

Really suddenly, just not levi seems sick. He isnt perching properly, he is hunched over (leaning forward) with his tail dropped. He is holding himself up with one leg on the side of the cage. I have put a light over him and covered him partially with a towel. Ill take him to the vet tomoz if he is still sick, but what else can I do now? Any Help?

Vet 2 is lovely! They used to do my dogs (yes my one eyed cavie!) before they became a bird vet. I love them to pieces, they areso gentle and lovely!
