Hi just wanted to show you my new female budgie who I got to day, I want a name for so if you have any be free to say. Also I want to know her mutation I think she is a pied, violet cinnamon but the camra makes her look sky blueish hope you can help

well hope we get some eggs, They look like they'll be good parents but I could be wrong

How long till eggs will arive roughly just wondering so i'll expect them comeing

Well this would be the forth day today of putting the nest box on and well Lumina my hen goes in it an awfull lot for the past two days and George her partner feeds her and preens her and she does the same to him and just today Ive noticed her poops have been alot large then normal but I havent seen the mate at all. She also likes to chew alot more than normal. Heres some picture I took today

oh well that is really good then cuz well this is a day in the life of Lumina in 10 steps 1. Wake up 2. Pester George to feed me 3. Chew up my chewing wood,paper, dry grass 4. keep going in and out nest box all day 5. pester George for more food 6. Get preened by George 7. Preen 8. NEST BOX!!!! 9. CHEW!!! 10. *yawn* Sleep

they've had the nest box on for 3 days now she goes in lots and sorts the wood shavings out but she seems posesive of it sometimes when George goes near it when shes in it

well my hen stayed out of condition for months and months but she was young how old is your hen because, if she has the right things to trigger her nesting instink she may go back into contition im not sure. ~edit~ changed cuz to because Moderator’s Message no shortcuts - use only approved shortcuts found in guidelines

Hi I keep asking what I would get I i breed Lumina and George Jr what would I get, and you all say we need to know the parentage and so today I went over to the breeder who I had my budgies from and well as some of you may know Bailey and George Jr are brothers from the same clutch and here are there parents. Lumina and George Jr Bailey George(Bailey and George Jr's dad)he also has a bigger spot than George Jr has on his head Gina(Bailey and George Jr's mom)she is also a cinnamon but it is very dark in her nest box And as some of you know I dont know Lumina's parents but hey well hope this helps

HI I'm just posting to say im getting a new baby budgie hen next week and its a full white with black eyes. Im hoping after next year she will be able to breed with Bailey and just also wondering what the out come will be ^^ she is gonna be in quarantine for five months.(im also gonna TRY to tame her MAYBE)

Today I actually saw my Budgie's bath and I put it on every week or so and supervise as they do fight over it. And untill now Ive never seen them bath just drink from it. I just wanted to share.
