Hey I made a post about building a cage out a dresser, but instead Me and my father went out and bought Mesh and a Plastic gardening tray and Non-treated ply wood. And today we worked out how we are going to build it and the measurements came to 3 foot long 2 foot wide 2 foot high 6 inches deep Are these okay to house two budgies, and maybe a breeding box for future bubs Hope this helps

Theres one problem we're short on money thats why I'm also not letting them breed unless they really must, but I do want them to breed and have chick though I dont think they will. But paciance is the key.

Dont know we are putting a wood side too, but I cant seem to get mine to breed, lumina only stays in condition for a couple of days then comes out I think I'm doing something wrong To get a hen into condition you need to make sure she has a quality diet of seed and fresh food every day. She also needs calcium in her diet every day - supplement in her water is best, as well as a calcium block and cuttle fish. She will need adequate light though the day too - about 12-14 hours of bright white light (I will be useing fluro's on a timer) to stimulate her hormones into thinking is summer. Some hens will go into condition when they have a nest box and makes them 'clucky' Your male will also need the above things too as males can go out of condition too. She has three cuttle bones, a large seed feeder, pink block thing(dont know its name),wood to chew, she gets sweetcorn orange and no much else of vegges because they just waste it, and its hard to get light in my room and no one else wants them in there room, my sisters room has lots of light and it makes her go right in condition, all the pictures I have of lumina in the nest box are in my sisters room. dunno if she need more say and i'll get it.

I've bought mesh and a plastic tray thing, the mesh is in squares because I thought they'de get out the honey cone shaped one's and we are going to start this satuday, also is a parrot olimpic ring toy safe for a budgie?

My moms amazing I look up to her, thats what inspired me to draw Is her card and flower making but I cant do that so I draw

Well yesterday it was my 15th birthday, and I thanks thouse who said 'happy birthday' to me and well, what I did for my birthday really wasn't much but I had fun and thats what's best. First I woke up and opened my cards no presents from my mom, dad, brother and sister but I got a book on budgie's and thats helped me learn more which is great. So then after that my friends mom came over with a HUGE cake and I mean huge, I was like wow, then I went over my friends house and was showered in presents. And my favourate part was this card my mom made Then I had a sleep over and we stayed up and watched Spiderman 3 and fantastic four all night, how fun.

Hello I want to build a cage out of a dresser for my budgie's as their cage is too small, I think.So any way I was wondering does anyone have any plans or tips they could give me on making it okay and safe for them to live in? If so Thank you.
