Came home today to discover Bailey (male budgie) preening Cookie (male tiel). It was so cute. I was quite surprised because up until now Cookie hasnt really tolerated Bailey, often trying to nip at him. So this is a huge turn around. Is it normal for two boys to preen each other?

Only had them since wed. guy at pet shop said about 8 weeks old.

I'm not sure if 07 or triangle then 7. Barbara said unregistered breeders can purchase rings and put their initials on it. What does it mean if its a triangle?

I spoke to Barbara yesterday and because the only initials are JL she cant tell me anything. Apparently the only JL she has listed hasnt bred budgies for a few years. I rang the pet shop i got them from and they're approx 8 weeks old.

Hi, just a quick question. Is it normal or wierd for Kaluah (female budgie) to be eating from Cookie's (male tiel) mouth? It only started today and Cookie doesnt seem to mind. :budgiedance:

No problem as soon as i realised how big pics were i edited. Thankyou for saying how lovely my budgies are. Anyone have any idea on colours? Found avatar on here. i chose it cause its the colour of my babies.

Very beautiful budgies. Just one thing though, please try and get some natural wood perches for the sake of their feet. I'm far from an expert but know that the plastic perches and even the dowel ones that are all the one size are really bad for their feet. Try and get a few of varying dimensions.

Welcome to the forum. I've only just joined too and it's a wonderful place and full of wonderful people. Would love to see pics of your budgies.

Stupid RSPCA. Go and look at the pet shops with a million birds in one little cage. I'm glad they have closed the case and hopefully they'll leave you alone now. I love your fids cage it's huge and looks like they'd love it.

Hi everyone. My name is Kellie and I live in Blacktown, Sydney. I got two budgies yesterday, Bailey (boy) and Kaluah (girl). They are so cute. They were born last year but not sure what month. They both have green id rings. I will post pics asap. Looking forward getting to know everyone.
