Yes!!! But i'm sooooo tired from too many late nights! Do your budgies throw their veggies out of their dishes? (mine have just thrown carrots, peas and corn all over their cage and my lounge room!!! )
  3. Sorry about your bad day Andrew. Both my sisters had braces and I remember when they got them and when they had them tightened they were alway grumpy! I hope you manage to get some sleep... maybe a hot pack or cold pack might help??? Not sure.
  4. ... I did it in high school. It was awsome fun throwing people over your shoulder. I did find it beneficial, but the only bits I remember are to get them where it hurts... eyes, face and privates (hard!)
  5. "Knock on Wood" by Amii Stewart... I love that song too!
  6. I thought that's what it said when I first read it... lol

Awsome Neat!!! It sucks when you realise half way through that it could have been done differently lol

What a sweetie. I have that exact same cage. I currently have 2 budgies in it, but if your birds had plenty of out of cage time, you should be able to house 3 in there. How do you find the big front door? I hated it so I modified it to open like a normal door
  10. Atleast you now know what it is. Lets hope it clears up and surgery isn't needed. Thanks for the update

Go Fish Are you planning a holiday in the next few months? (I am )
  12. At least you have the opposite problem to lots of members on here. Most of their hubby's wont let them buy more birds... yours buys them for you!!! Looks like he'll be busy building that aviary hey?!?
  13. Congratulations on your first egg. I'm sure you are going to get some very pretty babies. I really love Raine's colour. :budgiedance:
  14. Great photos. They sure are loving it :budgiedance:

  16. Thanks for posting. Hopefully you'll ge some more tips to go with what we've already discussed. Good luck with him
  17. That is just wonderful. It is nice to know there are people out there that care sooooo much! It sounds like you have found a vet to keep. Hugs again to you and your son... maesie xoxo
  18. I think you mean Denise!
  19. Agree Denise. I never feed budgies shell grit and also believe it is not needed.
  20. I was not having a go at you. I didn't mean you specifically... more generally Good luck with him, and I would try to go to the avain vet as they are more experieced with them.

Thanks :nest: I can't really get a good picture of that considering my phone won't show it very well..I'll try though. I didn't realize rust could do that.. I'll go do that now..:/ No worries. I also find it hard to get good clear cere shots

Hi and welcome to the forum. Your budgies are cute as :nest: I'm not good with genetics so I'll leave it up to the experts. As for sex, I'd need a clear closeup of their ceres. One other thing. The bell in the last two photos looks like it has rust on it. I'd replace it if I was you, as rust can kill budgues if they eat it. Welcome again and I look forward to getting to know you and your flock
  23. Not the greatest situation... but if they have offered to give you your money back, and you refused, I don't think you can then expect them to pay for the vet bills. They did offer you a solution and you chose not to take it. I would have done the same as you, as I couldn't take the bird back knowing it probably wont get treated... but yeah... I'd still check out what the go is with their responsibilites, but don't get your hopes up. Whether or not they meant to sell you a sick bird, I don't think you'll ever be able to prove it. Good luck and please keep us updated
  24. I had a hen who laid and raised two clutches. She then became unwell over time, and her cere went blue. I took her to my avian vet, and it turns out she had ovarian cancer. Something to do with the hormones related to it changed her cere. She had to be put down. I hope this is not the case with your budgie.
