More Merlin
:hap: I haven't a clue, they are the most inexpensive and possibly the most boring looking of all the budgies toys I've got for my guys, yet they are always the favourite. Though being inexpensive is good because I can buy them plenty, happy budgies all round .

Favourite Colour
Hmmm, it's not technically one colour, but I love yellow-face budgies .

I love to read, mainly fantasy books, draw whatever pops out of my strange imagination and write my "novel". I love ALL animals great and small (but I think everyone sort of figured that already ) And when my injury is 'better', I want to go back to uni or TAFE and do an "animal course", hopefully vet or vet nursing.

Olive: What To Do?
Began with OLIVE .... oh yes ... I can see it now. Wait. Maybe I can't see it ... I will be one of the 50 % staring off into space after I woke from my nap after sending notes of doodles to some other goofy like me. Ya ... that I can see. I'd be one of the 5% actually listening, I mean, who wouldn't want to learn about 'The Great Budgerigar Revolution of 2008, led by the Almighty Olive???

Pics Of Little Miss Olive
Olive says a big thankyou for the kind comments . I'm so glad she has settled in well, the first few days I was stressing out slightly, wondering if I had done the right thing or not. But now I'm certain that I have, just watching her, the improvement in her behaviour is phenomenal, not saying she was a 'bad budge', but she is no longer trying to kill her self . She loves being able to interact with the others, and now she has a whole aviary in which she can cause destruction and inact other 'fun' Olive-isms, which are going to give me grey hairs pre-maturely, lets just say she has worked out and exploited the function of the safety door . Lib - yeah, she has an 'odd beak', maesie's right in that it has grown funny and she has an extra nostril below her cere. Chrysocome - I should be thanking you for bringing her into my life, she is the funniest little thing, I just love her to bits :(Laughing out loud): . NickNack - It's a good idea, but I don't think Bruce Willis will react too positively if I said to him, "Excuse me Mr Willis would you have a few moments to spare to save us all from the insane, power-mongering budgies?", I just don't think it would go down all that well :hap: .

Olive: What To Do?
I wouldn't put it past her. I can just imagine 200 years from now, a year 10 Australian History class sits in avid attention (meaning 50% are staring off into space praying for the bell to hurry up, 20% are asleep, 15% are passing notes, 10% are doodling pictures in their diaries and 5% are actually taking note of what is being said) as the teacher begins her/his lecture... "The Great Budgerigar Revolution of 2008 began......."

Olive: What To Do?
I'm pleased to say that Olive is doing very well in her new home and has thankfully calmed down (well as calm as Olive can get anway ). She has already claimed the rope toy as her own, has found a fast friend in Zayda and I think her and Kaos are having a running competition to see who can wreak the most havoc. It makes me very happy to see her flying about mingling with the other budgies, she hated her quarantine cage with a passion. That being said, I am still keeping a close watch on them all, but no signs of illness have reared their ugly heads yet. Touch wood. :hap:

Chai And Khan
They're adorable and it looks like they are having a blast, though I wonder how long that mouse will last. Nanna and Grandpa bought a cat tower for Kota and Kiara a couple of weeks ago and they loved the mouse that was attatched....the following morning when we got up it was to find dozens of pieces of mouse scattered throughout the lounge room and no joke, chunks of 'skin' with grey tufts are popping up every now and then in the oddest places in the house :hap: .
