if you have a dippy thingo I use just a regular breakfast spoon to scrape it out. translation dippy thingo means concave

Also to let you know, when I have got a new bird in a small cage they either act in one of two ways. THey either go hypo or they get culture shock and sit and sit and sit in one corner. Consider yourself lucky if you got one of the 'hypo' ones.
