  5. AV, this is the thing with resuce birds, there history can be vauge, hopefuly she will get better .... She looks, red down there can you get her to a avain , vet .... is there alump there or is it just swallon and red with plucked feathers .... Have you given wormer, or mite treatments????? Does she scratch her self on the perches????? what perches are in the cage .... Just ruling out any allergic reactions

    Baby 1 Skyblue Normal Hen ( i think) green opaline, dom pied, tcb hen ( i think ) green spanle cock ( i think ) and my Fav violet opaline spangle cock Baby 5 is a yf2 dom pied cock but batteries went flat again Can you let me know if I am wrong, thanks guys
  8. Heya, just wanted to confirm if this is fact or fiction .. if a budgie is suffering from partial paralysis as in draging a foot or wing dropping the use of heat lamps are more harmful then helpful????

I don't see anything out ODD either fresh greens, gum leaves and grasses change the color of the poo if they soild parts are more runny i would worry, but you can try the raspberry juice added to the water or used cool boiled water for the drinking water I've heard that weaken black tea or chamomile tea helps too

I agree with Norm on that Deb, Only one of my hens, droped weight while she was breeding she had a clutch of 5 and once they got to the 3 week mark when the babies needed more food i noticed it .... I increased more greens and protien , i was also advised that most egg and biscuit mixes are mostly biscuits so try giving the scrambled eggs aswell
  14. Is she is a breeding cabinet??? or free flight??? Shell grit? Why are you feeding a budgie grit? They can digest their own seed unlike larger parrotts.... ( that is what grit is for )

  22. Looks boy to me, is it a YF grey??? However Elly is right, in somecases the cere of a young cock, is more rounder and stand out more ( raise out more ) and a hens is more flatters ... So this is a tough one colouring is a cock, apperance is female, what mutation is it ????
