hello everybody i have 2 male budgies whose ceres have turned a brown colour while in a breeding cage with females i have since taken both out and have in cages but i am woried they are sick what should i do i know they are out of condition but is it something serious PLEASE HELP.

hi hope somebody can help me i had a mother feeding babies die within 1 hour of checking her and her babies i left the babies with the father but found them not to be very full so i hand fed them and put them in with another pair that are good foster parents the pair fed them and they looked to be getting better but 4 days ago i found the weaker of the 2 dead in the nest then 2 days later the second one was dead and then this morning the other baby belonging to the pair i found dead missylu said it might be canker the babies had dried poo around the vents which i cleaned up didnt see any signs of vomiting can somebody please help the father is still alive and the pair i fostered too are still okay too

hi there i hope this is the right place to ask this does anybody have king quails in their aviary ive got 4 pairs in an aviary 4m x 3m they hatched 6 babies and all but one have died then in another smaller aviary a silver pair hatched 4 babies and now all 4 have died i have plently of water and have budgie seed as well as layer crumble and greens porvided for the birds any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers david

thanks heaps i tried the vinegar solution and my nails and got them all clean i also put some wood shavings in the box too thanks david

Hi there i have a problem with my breeding budgies they have 2 babies and their feet are now stuck with the poo that stays in the nest box i tried to clean it off with water but not all will come off has anybody got any help as how to clean it off so they are much healthier thanks david ps i do clean the nest box out regulary but this stuff now wont come off
