awww l'm so sorry it was probably stress, l lost a few of my fish to stress l bought 8 guppy males last month and only 3 survived. just recently l purchased 4 more guppies 2 males and 2 females . l did not want to lose even more so, l used a slow drip method to get them use to the water and temperature of the quarantine tank. l also shut off their lights for 24 hours to help lessen the stress. after 24 hours l tested both their water and the quarantine tank to make sure all the ph level, nitrite, nitrate and ammonia where the same or very close, before l added them to the quarantine tank. l did end up losing a female and a male to fin rot but l then added Melafix and Pimafix with a little bit of aquarium salt to their water and now they are very healthy and l already added the male to the males tank but the female is still in the quarantine tank because she is pregnant if you do get more fish then l would suggest you to treat your new fish with melafix for 3 days(l'm not sure if you guys in Australia get this product) it is a natural medicine. this is a picture pf my female after using those medicine on her
