here is a picture of my newest additions , he has black eyes and a white cheek spot , he has no markings but on the belly he has a tint of blue . so l don't no for sure what type of budgie he is? any guesses?

l couldn't help myself , today l bought two budgies. l don't have any names picked out yet , also l'm not quite sure , but the baby one might be a female she/he is only about 8 weeks and the other one looks like a few months old .

l agree with everyone else that she is a girl. so adorable.

l'm sorry for your loss. l hope that they will find out why. good luck with that.

l have an update. unfortunately l haven't received any response and l can't get a hold of the shelter by phone and they don't operate through a location just through foster homes for pets . l'm hoping that maybe someone already adopted him and he is in a good home.

l was searching online about different varieties of budgies and l found this website , http://www.geocities.com/budgie-place/p_colors.html l found it to be informing .

l was looking on the internet of local shelters in my area and l saw this budgie named Skye , they mention that it is a she ( but l'm not sure ) , she is young. l emailed the shelter to see if she is available and if she is l'm thinking of getting her but l'm still not sure .
