my first 2 budgies l got where Hobbes and Claire , they had moments when they would get a little noisy but nothing compared to a cockatoo , they are quite most of the time . l have them located in my bedroom and my family hardly hear's them . l agree that if you decided to get more then 2 the noise level will increase somewhat , especially when they get excited :(Laughing out loud): good luck with finding a companion for Buster

the bar space is about 1" and l agree that its a little too wide so a few weeks ago l bought another cage through ebay for them and its Spacing between the wires: 0.418" (10.61 mm), Wire Size: 0.064" (1.62 mm) l just received it and l will be putting them in it instead of my current one .

it went all right , mango would chirp non stop for a while but has calmed down after about a half hour , they seemed to be getting along quite well now , they all are sharing the cage clarie and hobbes don't seem to mind them being in their cage

l would get it from ebay , l actually just received my new flight cage today from ebay it's Width: 32" (80 cm), Depth: 14.25" (36 cm), Height: 19.25" (49 cm) l payed only $80.00 and in my local pet store for the same cage was $130.00.
