Yeah, I think it's my camera it seems to have troubles with purples. Fortunately I'm going to get some pretty cool cameras from work soon so I'll be able to take some stellar pictures.

He's a type one yellow face. Yes, that picture if from when he was a baby but he's a little more than a year old now. His color has stayed pretty much the same. I've tried taking pics outside too, his bright purple swing photographs as a blue and he photographs as a sky blue. I tried again with some outdoor pics, his face is more of a pale butter colored yellow and body feathers are more of a periwinkle. He looks a lot like Lovey's Merlin:

It wasn't an accident. She told someone else that she did it because she didn't like the water noise. I moved about 3 weeks after it happened and my tank got broken. I'd love to get another one sometime in the near future though. The blue guy had yellow spots on his anal fin as well. He really liked tuna.

I had a yellow labidochromis, a blue guy that was always a mystery I swear he loved to have his picture taken, he looked just like this one http://www.liveaquaria.com/images/general/...b_22674P_76.jpg, a red zebra, and an albino. They were really cool, my roommate put windex or some kind of cleaning chemical in my fishtank and killed them all. I had them for 5 years

I'm a little confused as to what Buster is. He's definitly a cinnamon with a yellow and is not sky blue. My camera doesn't photograph purple at all so every picture I take with it shows up like he is sky blue. The feathers on his back are a dark cobalt in color. He has purple cheek patches and this is the best picture I've got of his coloring and is pretty close to real life. Does cinnamon dilute color? I've read in one place that it does and in another that it doesn't. Would that make him a violet or cobalt?
