okay, I know that a few of you here have quite a number of birds and I was wondering if you have one that is the "runt" of the flock. Elwood is by far the smallest budgie I have, and seems to be getting picked on from the other birds. He gets pushed off perches and pushed aside when eating. What can I do to make sure that he gets all he needs? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Well, I finally got some more pictures of Skyler and Raven over the past few days and I knew you would just love to see them. Here they are, tons of pics as usual. What a giant cutie!! I love when they look back at you like this. Preen, Preen, Preen, ........"Hey a guy's gotta look good doesn't he?!?!" "SSHHHH.......I'm hiding!" A really good close up:) One of my favorites from today. Now I know some of you are like who is Raven, well it was Skeeter but it didn't fit her. So Raven it is. She was feeling very snuggly yesterday. Looking at the camera. So pretty!! What a sweetheart!! "I know I'm cute!!" Shawna he is gorgeous!! I love the yellow face, man I hope I can find another one with a yellow face. They are one of my favorite mutations!! I love him! So that means that "Skeeter" is a normal mauve right.

I got some great photos of my little sweetie and I thouhgt I would share them with all of you!! Houdini is in the background waiting for his pictures, "Sorry Houdini, this is MY day!!!" Time for my beauty rest:)" okay and we have a couple within the flock, Jake and Dazie. They are always together!! It is really sweet but I think Jake gets tired of her chasing him. Don't they look cute together?!?! Here is the amazing thing, look at the difference a couple of months makes: Here's Dazie around March 8th. These were from Today April 30th. My baby is growing up!! Here is Jake when he fiorst came home on Jan. 9th!! So little Here he is today.....April 30th!! Its amazing how fast they grow up!!! Hope you liked the pictures.

Petrie used to play dead. Always after her bath she would lay on her back and just stay there still as can be. The only way you could get her to stop was by putting your finger on the botom of her feet like perch then she would get up and act fine. Scared me the firs few times it happened. I know that is not what your talkking about but I thought I would share that story.

i like the name Midnight!! Thats really cute, and I'm gladyou like the suggestion of Cirrus.

I loke all of those names especially Merlin!! I know that you probably don't want any more suggestions BUT....... I like the name Cirrus. Its after the cloud type that looks like feathers. His white head and wings next to the dark clue looks like clouds to me. I hope you don't mind me throwing that one in there too.

He looks like a Cirrus to me. Like the type of cloud, Cirrus clouds look like feathers and well so does he. The white of his head to his blue makes me think of a cloud. So Cirrus is my pick.

Well Houdini decided to take a bath in his water dish and then to go play in to food dish. This is the end result. What a goof ball!!! "Don't I look some good?!?"

I know what you mean lovey. I was watching when the person in line before me wanted a budgie, he went over and just grabbed it by the tail and held it over the box until he could fit it in there. When he had skeeter I had to help him and he wasn't too pleased about it but I couldn't watch him hold Skeeter like that. I didn't notice at the store but when I got home there were feathers in the bottom of the box and she Skeeter has a bald spot on the side of his/her tail. Urrghh it made me so frusterated. But, atleast I know she will be happy and loved from now on!!

Well I was able to get osme better pictures of our newest edition Skeeter. If you look at the second picture you can see how the employee pulled out of the left side of Skeeter's tail because he picked her up be her tail and held her by it to get her in the box!!! Any way here are some pictures: She loves her Happy Hut. Snug as a Bug in a Rug!! On fingers already!! So Tall!! Sooo cute. What do you think male or female? Adorable!!

Well we have decided on a name. Please welcome Skeeter!! She reminds me of a little misquito, something that we have alot of here, so whats one more. she is so pretty and I'm glad you like the pictures.

She makes 8 total. Like I said I am just going to focus on them for now and hopefully make them the happiest little flock ever. She has already perched on my finger and she is chirping to the others and to skyler so I think she will make a great addition to our family.
