My Aviary....start To Finish
Its slow going JB My husband has a foot injury that slows him down and makes it hard for ladder work. And I am trying to acchieve a backlog of leadlight work that piled up while I was sick. We will get there. The window like areas each side of the double doors will have cartoonic style budgies done in real leadlight in them. The wood you see is temporary to stop any possible budgie escapes from the birdroom while we work. I have a skyblue cock called HOUDINI who escapes the breeder cage any chance he can. He is the father to all my normal skyblueblue and YF skyblue babies in my kindie cage baby topic.

What Type Of Feeders Do You Use?
Depends on the type of tube feeders. The petshop or supermarket types having a thinner tube than some and being made of hard plastic dont last long before they split. The softer plastic and larger tube drinkers and feeders last ages without splitting. A lot of tube feeder or jar feeders are prone to clogging up, especially if you have weevil moths about. I use dishes these days in preference to tube feeders, and I use tube drinker on breeder cages, and large drinkers in the aviary and feeding platforms and large trays for seed.

Omelette's Babies
There may be a clear egg or two in the daughters nestbox ...I am not sure. BUT when they lay so many, often the last ones laid take a few days to colour up. In Omelette's nestbox...no surprises....grey green to grey green means grey green babies I guess. Dad is split blue though. How many nests ? Dont know. Will count for you tomorrow. I have around 30 breeding cages on the go right now in various stages.
